Notice is hereby given that the Forks Planning Commission will hold a special meeting on 29 April 2026 at 5:15 pm. The primary focus of this meeting will be the Commission’s review of the proposed Growth Management Act required Comprehensive Plan Update. Notice is hereby given that the City Council will hold a quasi-judicial public hearing regarding the recommendation of the Forks Planning Commission associated with three requests for zoning map or zoning code changes.
A copy of the Planning Commission’s recommendation and other associated materials regarding these three requests can be obtained by contacting Mr. Rod Fleck at 360/374-5412, ext. 111.  Written comments will be received up to the hearing before the City Council on each of the requests. Public comment will be taken during the meeting for those who have an interest in the matter.

Forks Planning Commission Meeting
Tom Tucker Installation of 8 Units for Small Inn

Please note the City of Forks has received a request for a Conditional Use Permit for the construction of eight units with the intent of operating as a small inn located at 170 Sportsman Club Road. The matter will be subject to a quasi-judicial proceeding that includes a public hearing where testimony can be provided to the planning commission as part of their decision making process. Written comments may be provided prior to the meeting, unless the individual is providing the comments physically in person during the meeting. Questions should be directed to Rod Fleck, City Attorney/Planner at rodf@forkswashington.org
