On July 13, 2026 at 7:30 p.m., the Forks City Council will conduct a public hearing to obtain input regarding the proposed six-year Transportation Improvement Plan covering 2027–2032. This plan is used by local, state, and federal governments to prioritize and fund transportation projects. Click the link below for the full notice.

Notice is here by given that Peterson Legacy Farm, LLC (Glynda Peterson Schaad) was granted a Special Use Permit for the utilization of the family’s single-family residence as a short-term vacation rental when they are not occupying it. A determination was made that the proposed use would not conflict with the neighborhood’s existing uses, nor result in hazards or adverse environmental impacts arising from the proposed special use.

Notice is hereby given that Olympic Coast Rentals, LLC (Ravae O’Leary) was granted a Special Use Permit for the utilization of a single-family residence as a short-term vacation rental when they are not occupying it. The lead agency has determined the attached items do not have a probable significant adverse impact based on the proposed mitigation required.

Notice is hereby given of a public hearing to be held during the City Council’s Regular Meeting on 8 June 2026 on an appeal filed by Cora Sasticum of the Forks Planning Commission’s 15 April 2026 Approval of a Conditional Use Permit issued to Tom Tucker for Eight Unit Tiny Home Development – Small Inn, to be constructed at 170 Sportsman Club Road.

Forks Park, Recreation & Open Space Plan Survey

The City of Forks is collecting information to develop a Park, Recreation & Open Space (PROS) Plan. The purpose of the PROS Plan is to provide guidance on the city’s management and development of park properties for the next 6-20 years.

The city is requesting your input to ensure that the needs of the Forks community are met. This survey will help us understand how you currently use Forks’ park system, and help us plan for the future of Forks’ parks. Please be sure to enter your name and phone number at the end of the survey if you would like to be kept informed of the PROS Plan progress and enter the lottery drawing for a $250 gift certificate.
